Frequently Asked Questions

WHY ARE MY DICE DIFFERENT FROM THE PICTURES?

We do our best to use real photos that represent the whole picture not just a photo shop mock up, stock photos from distributors, or a photo of the best set. Sometimes they are a little more of one color then the other.

Some of our dice are made by a special process that injects a second color resin into the base color and then spun. This diffusion process can produce some amazing dice that are unique and one of a kind.  We want to be as transparent as possible.  As beautiful as some of the dice are it can also produce some duds that is why we QC the dice not just once but 3 times. Once after production, once when we receive the product and a third and last time before we ship.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE MY DICE? WHAT IF MY DICE ARE DAMAGED?

First, we will think you're insane if you don't like them because we love each and every set we ship. But if you really don't like your dice or a misfit escaped our QC process we do offer a 15 day money back return period. Just return the damaged dice or ugly set and we will either send you a replacement, new set, or a full refund. Note that we cannot guarantee a replacement on limited runs because they are actually limited.  It's not just a sales pitch.

WHY ARE SOME OF YOUR DICE RUNS SO SMALL?

First and foremost, we keep some of our designs exclusive due to expense and exclusivity. Having something that only a handful of people have makes it more special. If you are buying from us, you are now a part of our family. Exclusive sets will be clearly marked as so and come with extra goodies to differentiate us from other companies.

Second, we are a very small company of 2 people. We like to take our time and make sure each set is personally inspected and is up to our standards. That means lots of long hours for us just to make sure you are happy with our product and you get what you paid for.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRIME SET AND A NULL SET?

For limited runs, we manufacture a specific number of sets.  When those sets are complete, we inspect each and every die for imperfections.  Those with no imperfections are used to form Prime sets.  Those with slight imperfections are separated from the herd and used to assemble what we call Null sets.  Those with major imperfections are ground into powder and mixed into health shakes to fuel our creativity.

WHY DO YOU ONLY TAKE PRE-ORDERS FOR A CERTAIN NUMBER OF PRIME SETS ON THE LIMITED SETS?

We inspect each dice before they are packaged.  Statistically we know the minimum number of sets we can expect to be Prime grade in each run.  Any set in excess of this goes on the site for regular sales until its sold out. This also give you 2 chances to order the limited run set.
